Fabulous book
Fabulous book on something that is so obvious yet so elusive. Business owners/management want peak performance from employees but what is their part in the equation? I learned in this book employee engagement is so much more than a worker being "happy" at work. Thank you Jill Christensen for putting together a road map to take my business and employees to the next level of productivity and engagement.

Good, fun, short read
Her 4 x 2 plan for achieving engagement from your team is simple, yet very few leaders do it. I've found her book to be encouraging and very helpful to those of us who care about the people we work with. The interesting thing is, by doing what she says, we'll also get higher profits. So even if you don't care about your employees, do what she suggests and you'll make more money! (You might even find out that caring about people is good for you, too.)

A nice addition to the library
If you are struggling with keeping your staff engaged, recruitment and retention of good employees and rewarding and recognizing those folks who make your shop hum, then this book demands your attention. Christensen lays out the statistics, but the fact of the matter is it, is common sense that an engaged workforce can make a huge difference to your bottom line.
